What our experts say:
Melbourne vs Richmond
After winning their second game of the year against Greater Western Sydney by a sizable margin, Melbourne crashed hard back to earth with a big loss to Brisbane. Things aren’t quite as bleak as they were after nine rounds, but even in their two wins they have shown that they are a long way from the best of the competition.
Richmond’s balance will be thrown off with a string of bad news: Tyrone Vickery is done for the year, Daniel Connors has left the club and Dustin Martin has been suspended for two weeks (the latter two for missing a training session due to taking sleeping tablets the night before).
Since their remarkable wins against Hawthorn and St Kilda in rounds nine and 10, the Tigers have dropped off and lost poorly to Fremantle and Adelaide, but should regroup here.
Richmond by 32
SC – Jeremy Howe (Melb), Brett Deledio (Rich)

Melbourne ($5.20) vs. Richmond ($1.18):
I feel as though the Demons undid (is that a word?) some good work last weekend with a 10 goal hiding from the Lions. They were lost up forward without Clark and I don’t believe they’ve resolved that issue at the selection table this week. The Tigers were unusually subdued in their efforts last week as they meekly surrendered to the Crows. I suspect they’ll smell a kill here, but I’m not sure how they’ll react given the proposed seven changes to their line up. Happy to stick with the yellow and black. Suggested bet: Tigers at the line (+17.5) @ $1.92
