VIC Country’s Lachie Whitfield is almost a lock in for this year’s No.1 draft pick.
Not too many club would look elsewhere and why would they after he won the Larke Medal, awarded to the best player in division one at the Under 18 National Championships in which Vic Metro won.
He been a member of the AIS-AFL Academy for the past two years. He was an eye catcher in the Academy-Box Hill game earlier this year and has been regularly playing school footy this year. Skilful midfielder with exquisite skills.
