VIC Metro’s Jack Viney hit the headlines earlier this year after suffering a broken jaw in a debut with the Casey Scorpions in  the VFL.

But since then, Viney has been playing school footy and shown some promising glimpses with Metro during the Under 18 National Championships.

Although the son of Melbourne star Todd appears Demon bound, it is not set in stone as they may have to forgo the No.3 pick for him in which they may opt for another star.

But they would be bonkers to go past Viney, who dominated last year’s TAC Cup grand final.
