Adelaide:
The Crows have recalled five first-choice players for Friday night’s NAB Cup clash against Carlton at AAMI Stadium.

Brisbane:
With just two weeks until the nomination deadline, competition is starting to heat up among the seven rookie-listed Lions to see who will be officially elevated to the senior list on Tuesday 19 March.

Carlton:
Blues draftee Nick Graham’s hopes of making his AFL debut early this season have been dashed after suffering a knee injury that will sideline him for up to eight weeks.

Collingwood:
He’s proud of how Collingwood handled the valleys but coach Nathan Buckley insists they’ll have to work harder to climb the mountain.

Essendon:
In a major boost towards his quest to be fit for round one Essendon midfielder David Zaharakis today completed his first full training session with the main group since injuring his quadriceps in late January.

Fremantle:
Key defender Alex Silvagni is hoping an ability to play on smalls as well as talls can help him break into the side this year.

Geelong:
Powerful left foot defender, Josh Hunt, can’t believe how quickly time has flown and that he is now one of the older guys leading the pack.

Gold Coast:
Trent McKenzie, Zac Smith and Seb Tape head the list of five Gold Coast players who extended their contracts with the Suns on Tuesday.

Hawthorn:
Hawthorn recruit Jonathan Simpkin says it has been a smooth transition to the Hawks since signing with the Club as a Delisted Free Agent in November.

Melbourne: 
Supporters should see glimpses of Jimmy Toumpas and Jack Viney’s talent during 2013, but Melbourne midfielder Nathan Jones says no-one should expect them to dominate for a while yet.

North Melbourne: 
His future is secured until 2016 and he has one of the youngest lists in the competition but Brad Scott is not prepared to sit back and wait for success.

Port Adelaide:
Port Adelaide wants Lance Franklin, says Power chairman David Koch.

Richmond:
David Astbury’s comeback from a knee injury has been halted by a foot injury, which will keep the young defender out of the rest of Richmond’s pre-season.

St Kilda:
The introduction of an interchange cap in 2014 will not ruin the game, and players and coaches will learn to deal with it, St Kilda veteran Leigh Montagna says.

Sydney:
Co-captain Adam Goodes will headline a list of welcome inclusions for Sydney on the weekend, as coach John Longmire looks to juggle the playing time of some of the pillars of the Swans’ premiership defence.

West Coast:
Eagles recruit Sharrod Wellingham is set to miss at least the first two rounds of the AFL season after a slower-than-expected recovery from an ankle injury.

Western Bulldogs:
The Bulldogs have not set a ceiling for midfielder Tom Liberatore’s improvement this year, putting faith in the continued rapid development of the 20-year-old in 2013.
