Adelaide:

Brett Ratten has challenged his side to lift their game around the stoppages to lift themselves back into AFL top four contention.

Collingwood:
Exciting Collingwood rookie Marley Williams is a chance to make his senior debut against Adelaide on Saturday night after being upgraded for the injured Luke Ball.

Essendon:
On the eve of his first meeting with the club he coached for 27 seasons, Kevin Sheedy has acknowledged that he would have traded Essendon’s captain Jobe Watson if offered ”a very good player” in return, had he remained as coach of the Bombers beyond 2007.

Fremantle:
Dockers coach Ross Lyon says he’ll consider taking three ruckmen into Sunday’s western derby AFL clash with West Coast.

The Bulldogs face an arduous task on Friday night, backing up against Geelong at Etihad Stadium just six days after a game in Darwin.
