Adelaide:

Carlton:
The decision which sparked Twitter fury amongs Carlton players Marc Murphy and Jeremy Laidler was indeed wrong, AFL umpires boss Jeff Gieschen has admitted.

Collingwood:
Nathan Buckley is confident Alan Toovey, Ben Reid and Heath Shaw will have an impact in their return from injury against West Coast on Saturday.

Essendon:
Defender Dyson Heppell believes the Bombers are refreshed and ready for a tough battle against Fremantle at Patersons Stadium on Saturday night following a bye last round.

Fremantle:
Star defender Luke McPharlin says Fremantle want to replicate the dominance of West Coast in Perth, with the goal of making rival clubs fear any trip west starting with Essendon this Saturday night.

Geelong:
The club yesterday banned first-year player Jesse Stringer from playing at senior level for the rest of the season.

Gold Coast:
Is Gary Ablett about to create history by becoming the first player ever to win a Brownlow Medal in a team that does not win a single game all season?

Greater Western Sydney:
The Giants’ attempts to sign emerging star Jeremy Cameron on a long-term deal are likely to be thwarted for some time.

Hawthorn:
Grant Birchall has become the second Hawthorn player to sign a new deal this week, extending his stay until the end of the 2015 season.

Melbourne:
Club president Don McLardy hopes the Demons can hit the restart button on their season, starting against Greater Western Sydney on Sunday, as the club continues to placate sponsors and fans.

North Melbourne:
The club has been publicly lauded for taking the lead in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at a special breakfast event at Etihad Stadium in conjunction with Edelman.

Port Adelaide:
Power coach Matthew Primus says he has asked midfielder Travis Boak if he has decided on his future, but didn’t get an answer.

Richmond:
The Tigers are looking at challenging the $5000 fine imposed on the club after the AFL found one of its staff had abused a field umpire at the end of the Tigers-Fremantle round 11 clash at the MCG.

St Kilda:
Ruckman Ben McEvoy is targeting a big finish to the season after being forced to watch on from the sidelines for a large part of 2012.

Sydney Swans:
Geelong’s challenge of upsetting Sydney and drawing level with the Swans on eight wins on Friday night has been dealt a blow with Adam Goodes set to return from injury.

West Coast:
Eagles defender Adam Selwood could miss Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash against Collingwood at the MCG as he battles to recover from an arm infection.

Western Bulldogs:
Bulldogs defender Dale Morris’s chances of playing again this season are all but extinct after the club placed him on the long-term injury list.
