Fremantle:
As Fremantle ponder how to turn a 6-5, 11th placing at the halfway point of the season into a finals berth, their honest but dour midfield is a good place to start.

North Melbourne:
Brad Scott says his wasteful side has a lot to improve on as it chases back-to-back-wins for just the second time this season.

Richmond:
Richmond forward Shane Edwards faces a fine for making contact with umpire Matt Stevic during the Tigers’ narrow win over Greater Western Sydney.

Saints captain Nick Riewoldt has tried to squash conjecture that he suffered a knee injury and not a calf strain against Adelaide on Friday night.
Sydney Swans:
Swans defender Ted Richards says co-captain Adam Goodes is on track to return from injury in the side’s SCG clash with Geelong on Friday night.
West Coast:
Champion Data has tracked every one-on-one contest this season, charting wins, losses and “neutral” results for all defenders, with West Coast captain Darren Glass the man you could rely on most in a clutch scenario.
Western Bulldogs:
North Melbourne veteran Brent Harvey, in a special comments role on ABC Radio on Sunday night, declared the Western Bulldogs had found a genuine player of the future in Ayce Cordy.
