The dreadlocked ruckman was the centre of plenty of hype in the months preceding the 2008 AFL draft, and West Coast responded by snapping him up with their first pick.

Dominant for the WA U18 team for two years, Naitanui has a terrific work rate, exceptional athleticism and great skills.

Expect the 201cm excitement machine to become a cult figure over the next couple of seasons.
