Draft prospect in focus: Jack Martin

Jack Martin
Claremont (WA)
29 January 1995
184cm, 64kg
IS eligible only for the GWS mini-draft because he is too young for this year’s draft. And he’s likely to be taken with GWS’ first pick in a similar vein to that of Gold Coast’s Jaegar O’Meara.
Has blistering pace, exquisite foot skills and is a strong mark overhead.
The West Australian finished just one vote behind Lachie Whitfield, this year’s expected No.1 draft pick, for the Larke Medal. Is an All-Australian and won WA’s MVP. So many clubs want to get their hands on him but would have to eagerly trade with GWS to get him.
