The Bulldogs have deepened their ruck stocks with this good all-round ruckman, who has a good pair of hands and is strong at ground level.
What Roughead is lacking in athleticism he makes up for in endurance and competitiveness.
Could see action in 2009 but is more likely to spend the year developing.
