CARLTON’S mature age rookie Wayde Twomey would be the next rookie elevation is the Blues needed him according to development coach Darren Harris.

“I’ve been rapt with Wayde Twomey. I reckon he’s been fantastic with what he’s offered us. He’s improved every week. He has a big impact whether he’s scoring goals or whether he’s setting them up,” Harris said.

“I think Wayde’s form over the last three weeks has really given us something to talk about and that’s exciting for him going forward.”

Twomey has previously played VFL with the Werribee Tigers and more recently played for Swan Districts in the WAFL.
