Dean Laidley has resigned and will not coach the North Melbourne Football Club again, according to reports from SEN radio.
Laidley has coached the Kangaroos since 2003 and in 148 games.
The former North Melbourne and West Coast defender was facing a mid-season club review but it is claimed he has now quit his position, effective immediately.
A press conference will occur at Arden Street at 1pm today.
