ALL eyes will be on Hawthorn forward Lance Franklin tomorrow when he rejoins his team-mates for training after another health scare – this time gastro just a week after a knee injury.
The Hawks have said that Franklin is a certain starter for Friday night’s preliminary final against Collingwood after the Hawks advanced with a 36-point win over Sydney last Friday night.
“I think he just paid a visit to one of our club doctors there (at the hospital) to get some anti-nausea tablets and he went straight back home – I think he’s out there this morning having a bit of a run around, which is good,” Roughead said on Triple M.
Key Hawks pair Ben Stratton and Paul Puopolo are also deemed fit despite not finishing the match against Sydney.
West Coast will meet Geelong on Saturday’s other preliminary final after the Eagles advanced following a three-point win over Carlton on Saturday night.
