A look to the future

IT will be a genuine look to the future in AFL football on Saturday night when the two new licenses Gold Coast and Greater Western Sydney make their mark in the NAB Cup against the Sydney Swans.
Rugby defector Karmichael Hunt will make his debut in defence along with ex-Hawk hard man Campbell Brown for the Suns.
Israel Folau will miss the clash for GWS but is likely to be a part of the State League Foxtel Cup competition later in the year in which GWS will front the Northern Bullants first up.
David Swallow, last year’s No.1 draft pick, will be one to watch. He has excellent endurance and finished fourth in last year’s Liston Trophy for the VFL best and fairest.
Maverick Weller and Brandon Matera are other young exciting talents for the Suns.
The Swans will field several new faces including ex-Bulldog Andrejs Everitt.
