Western Bulldogs 2009 Preview
Posted by Football NationFeb 17. 2009 3:52 pmRodney Eade must feel like 2009 is the year to pull out all the stops and go for broke in chasing down a historic premiership.
Tough, fast, relentless football was the Bulldogs trademark in 2008, and it took them all the way to a Preliminary Final against Geelong.
The lack of a power forward has plagued the Bulldogs, so hopefully the recruitment of Ayce Cordy, Liam Jones and Jordan Roughead can provide at least one answer to that problem.
The Bulldogs have not recruited new players other than these three young talls, so the coaching staff must be confident they can get the job done with their current list.
Season 2009 kicks off for the Bulldogs against Fremantle at Subiaco, followed by an MCG clash with North Melbourne and a match against Richmond at Telstra Dome.
