Richmond coach Terry Wallace will coach his final game for the club in this week’s Round 11 clash against the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium.

In an announcement at the Tigers’ Punt Road Oval headquarters, club president Gary March and Wallace said the departure came from “mutual agreement”.

Wallace’s position was due to come under review after the game anyway, as the Tigers have long stated they will undertake a mid-season review.

The decision will allow whoever takes the reigns for the remainder of the season a two-week window in which to prepare for their first game, because of the mid-season break.

The game will be Wallace’s 501st in AFL football – as both player and coach – and will be against the club he headed for seven years.
