A FINAL quarter surge from Port Adelaide has given it the points against Adelaide by 23 points in the showdown at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.

The Power trailed by seven points at three quarter time and the winless Crows stopped in the final with the Power kicking five unanswered goals to win, 14.13 (97) to 10.14 (74).

Power coach Mark Williams said he was proud of his players.

“Real credit to our players and the way they ran out the game,” Williams said after the game.

“There’s a fair bit of belief. I’ve listened to [St Kilda coach] Ross Lyon talk about his players after their win over the Bulldogs last night and I thought our guys [have showed a lot of] inner belief too.

“The West Coast [game in round two] came; the Saints came [last weekend] and now [we’ve won] this one.”
