THE FUTURE of tantalizing North Melbourne prospect Majak Daw has been thrown into further disarray after it was announced today that the club had suspended him indefinetly for “missing rehabilitation sessions and acting contrary to the club’s culture and professional expectations.”
This comes less than a day after news that a pre-season knee injury is likely to keep him out of the NAB Cup competition.
Daw has picked by the Kangaroos with the ninth pick of the 2009 Rookie Draft but since then has played only sparingly for the club although he has flashed promise with his most memorable moment coming last year with a sensational goal while playing for the Werribee Tigers in the VFL.
According to the press release on the North Melbourne website, Daw will continue to train with VFL affiliate Werribee until further notice but has vowed to work with the rookie to facilitate his return to Aegis Park as soon as possible.
