NORTH Ballarat may have more players drafted in the upcoming rookie draft on December 14 following the shock signing of Orren Stephenson at Geelong.

Oliver Tate, who has been one of the revelations at the Roosters to date, is training at North Melbourne alongside other Roosters including Marcus Darmody and Liam Hoy.

Hoy, too, has been a rapid improver and is likely to attract some interest.

Werribee’s Sean Tighe, Will Martinello and Brad Mangan will train at North Melbourne also.

Tighe, a former Western Jet, has been remarkable in defence for Werribee alongside Mangan this season.

Martinello has been on the radar for some time now and also will be in with a chance.

Interestingly, there are yet to be any formal interest in former Hawk Travis Tuck, Brendan Fevola, Nathan Ablett or Austin Wonaeamirri.

The pre-season and rookie drafts are on December 14.
