CARLTON recruit Lachie Henderson booted eight goals for the Northern Bullants last week but still couldn’t get a look in at in-form Blues.

The same goes with on-baller Brock McLean who also had a day out last week for Gold Coast.

Blues development coach David Teague said after the match last week: “I thought McLean particularly early when we weren’t playing well, he was the one that was on. He probably lifted a few guys around him. I thought he was very good around the ball in the contest and his work rate.”

The Blues made just one change for tonight’s match against the Kangaroos with Dennis Armfield coming in for Joe Anderson.

Amazingly the Blues, who are eying off a top four spot tonight, have some great depth including their ruckman Shaun Hampson and Robbie Warnock battling away for the Bullants.

Sam Jacobs and Matthew Kreuzer have been impressive enough to hold their spots.

Blues football manager Stephen Icke said during the week that he wouldn’t rule out trading one of their ruckmen at the end of the season.
