The AFL journey of Brent Prismall has, so far, been an up and down rollercaoster that has seen him battle for a place in an incredibly strong team and, more recently, try to overcome serious injury at a new club.

With this in mind the young man would no doubt be pleased to get back on the park playing footy again, as he did for the Bendigo Bombers at the weekend.

According to those at the game Prismall had about 12 touches in his 45 minutes on the ground, a good return for a player coming off a knee reconstruction.

With Essendon at four wins, three losses and sitting inside the eight, Prismall could push for senior games over the next few weeks and could have a very positive impact.

The midfielder is known to have good footy smarts and will no doubt strengthen the  young Essendon side when he gets his chance.
