David MirraAFL draft hopeful David Mirra has injured an ankle while playing for Box Hill in the opening half of its clash against the Northern Blues at Box Hill City Oval yesterday.

Mirra limped off the ground clutching his knee but after the match it was determined to be an ankle injury, although it has not yet been determined how serious the injury is.

Mirra, a gun defender of the VFL, was believed to be in contention for the AFL draft or rookie draft last season. He has struggled with injuries so far this season.
