Dees get first win

MELBOURNE won its first game of the season over Adelaide by 16-points at the MCG on Sunday.
Skipper James McDonald and Nathan Jones sealed the 7.15 (57) to 5.11 (41) win.
“They got some confidence from last week and the challenge was always going to be how they rebound this week from the closeness of last week’s game,” coach Dean Bailey said.
“They hung in there and hung in there and they were very good. They worked pretty hard and they got a bit of reward for effort.”
