Collingwood:
The Magpies have invited delisted forward Brad Dick to train with the club ahead of next month’s preseason draft.

Fremantle:
Forward Hayden Ballantyne admitted to losing some sleep on Sunday night ahead of the official beginning of pre-season training at Fremantle Oval today under new coach Ross Lyon.

The first batch of Geelong players to start pre-season training headed to a high-altitude camp at Falls Creek yesterday.

Greater Western Sydney:
Dumped Irishman Setanta O’hAilpin looks set to be handed an AFL lifeline by veteran coach Kevin Sheedy, who has dropped massive hints the former Blue could have a home in the land of the GWS Giants.

Gold Coast:
Suns fans have forced the State Government into ripping up a five-year deal that would have seen all local AFL derbies played at the Gabba, creating a super footy weekend in July.

Hawthorn:
Hawks legend and AFL games record-holder Michael Tuck has urged clubs to give his son Travis a second chance, pledging: “He won’t let anyone down.”

Melbourne:
Greater Western Sydney coach Kevin Sheedy has accused Melbourne of being behind reports star recruit Tom Scully has serious concerns over the health of his knees.

North Melbourne:
The Kangaroos will today launch an appeal to its entire membership for donations to help wipe out the club’s $5 million debt.

Port Adelaide:
Cam Falloon tells PortTV which players will be on modified programs to start pre-season.

Richmond:
Promising young Richmond defender, Jake Batchelor, has been rewarded for his impressive debut season at Tigerland in 2011 with a contract extension.

St Kilda:
The Saints remain hopeful of keeping defender Zac Dawson, despite reports he is headed for Fremantle.

Sydney Swans:
In his first season at the Sydney Swans, Matt Spangher’s fearlessness and attack on the ball saw him become somewhat of a cult figure towards the end of the 2011 season.

West Coast:
Fremantle have offered West Coast premiership forward Ashley Hansen a position as full-time development coach for next season.

Western Bulldogs:
New Western Bulldogs coach Brendan McCartney is committed to spending long periods in the classroom this summer in a bid to engineer a return to the top eight.
