ADELAIDE has copped a massive blow on the eve of its round one clash against Fremantle with defender Graham Johncock breaking his thumb at training on Thursday.

It is understood he will be sidelined for four AFL matches.

Johncock was selected in Adelaide’s side to take on Fremantle on Sunday, but suffered the injury at training yesterday.

The star midfielder has been replaced by Jarrhan Jacky in Adelaide’s 25 man squad for their away clash with the Dockers.
