CARLTON skipper Chris Judd is on report and appears likely for a stint on the sidelines following a crude ‘chicken wing’ tackle on North Melbourne midfielder Leigh Adams last night.
The Brownlow Medallist pulled out his right shoulder with Adams face down on the ground in a pack and Adams left the field immediately in the trainers’ arms.
Adams said it wasn’t the most “pleasant feeling in the world”.
“Obviously I didn’t see the incident because I was stick on the bottom of the pack,” Adams said.
“It wasn’t the most pleasant feeling in the world but I’m sure the match review panel will do with it what they do and I’ll get myself right for next week,” he told kangaroos.com.au
The ‘chicken wing’ tackle is one of the more dangerous going around, although the AFL is yet to suspend any player for doing so.
