SYDNEY Swans recruit Daniel Bradshaw had the last laugh against his former club the Brisbane Lions after booting six goals in the Swans’ 20-point win at the SCG on Saturday night.

Bradshaw’s brilliant performance also saw sidekick Adam Goodes kick three goals for the Swans in the 16.11 (107) to 13.9 (87) win.

Swans coach Paul Roos praised his teams’ gritty performance.

“They came out really firing… they’re a finals team from last year, they’ve got some real quality and they really came at us. Our guys steadied and it was a pretty critical last two or three minutes of that third quarter,” Roos said.

“When Braddy pulled out the barrel, you think you’re in for a pretty reasonable night when those go through. It’s not often it happens on the siren so you’re pretty relieved when those go through.”
